Mason Fisher

Mason Fisher is the award-winning creative director of the East Coast Game Audio team, and brings over 15 years of custom game audio development to the team. Mason has worked on over 30 AAA titles providing music, sound design, and voice-over direction. Mason began his game audio career by composing the sweeping music score for the legendary SSI title, Eye of the Beholder 3. Following up with the success of Eye of the Beholder 3, Mason wrote the original score and created the sound effects for legendary titles such as Siege of Avalon (Digital Tome, Inc.), Age of Wonders II (Triumph Studios), and Galactic Civilizations 2 (Stardock Studios).

Mason’s track record of high quality, emotionally gripping original music and sound effects attracted the attention of Timegate Studios, who hired Mason to produce all of the music, sound FX, and voice-over direction for the award-winning title, F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point. Mason’s dark, tense score and Sound FX won him the 2006 Best Audio Of The Year award from Voodoo Extreme, and showcased Mason’s ability to create gripping audio in the survival-horror video game genre.

Most recently, Mason served as the Audio Director for Netdevil, Ltd., leading an audio team of three to develop musical and audio direction for the developing sci-fi MMO, Jumpgate: Evolution. With the formation of the East Coast Game Audio team, Mason now brings his experience and his audio management skills to the next generation of games that are looking for gripping, emotional music and sound FX.
